Colorful Living Magazine is a quarterly publication that centers on all the colors of life: ready to underscore diversity, ageism, homelessness and empowerment and fun enough to feature food and wines, fashion, beautiful destinations, entertainment and more – all on a local and national level. If you’re looking for meaningful, engaging, educated content with a splash of fluff, you’ll enjoy reading this publication cover to cover – because life is meant to be lived in full, living color.
Slated to hit stands September 1, 2018, this 24-page, full-color print publication will run four times a year – fall, winter, spring and summer. The publication will increase to 32 pages within the year, aiming for 48 pages in its second year. The magazine is printed on recycled paper and donates a percentage of its revenue to various non-profits to include Shepherd’s Gate and the Alzheimer’s Foundation.
The name of the publication is not geographically, gender or social/economic-specific, therefore giving it a local, as well as national appeal, encompassing and featuring all walks of life and all the colors in life. However, with that said, marketing will focus on social media outlets, which will attract our next generation of decision-makers, the Millennials, which harvest and consume their information via smartphones, iPads, computers and other digital channels. In addition, according to the Harvard Business Review in a article entitled The Female Economy, “Globally, they [women] control about $20 trillion in annual consumer spending, and that figure could climb as high as $28 trillion in the next five years.” According to Don’t Think Pink by Andrea Learned, “Women purchase over 50% of traditional male products, including automobiles, home improvement products, and consumer electronics.” In light of this data, Colorful Living Magazine will have an overall allure towards women.
Why advertise with us
Our publication will not only draw the average news consumer in with wine and dining, entertainment and fashion, but it will purposefully and consciously highlight social, environmental and economical issues as well. We use recycled paper for our print edition, and taking care of our planet, both locally and nationally, is congruent with our mission as a news source.
In addition to the 1,000 print copies distributed throughout the East Bay, your ad will be promoted on all of our social media sites (even BEFORE we go to press), because most people get their content via smart phones and electronics, rather than print. According to the Pew Research Center, “As of spring 2017, 45% of U.S. adults often get news on a mobile device, up from 36% in 2016 and 21% in 2013.“
Distribution will include 1,000 print copies distributed throughout Contra Costa County (Discovery Bay, Brentwood, Antioch, Knightsen, Oakley, Pittsburg and Concord), dropped at business locations with high traffic. A large part of our focus is through social media to include www.colorfullivingmagazine.com, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest, Google+, Nextdoor Neighbor and more.
